Episode 214

Innocence

The Judge is recovering his full powers, and Spike’s impatient to get with the killing. Angel and Buffy did the deed, and it turns out the sex was so good that the curse that put his soul in place was broken. Angel rises from the ground as Angelus, and his first act is to kill his first human victim in over 100 years.

The news about the Judge is not good - at full power, he can kill with just a glance. Angelus rejoins Spike and Drusilla but pledges to dispatch Buffy, doing so by breaking up with her in the cruelest way possible and by threatening her friends.

Fully recovered, the Judge makes to commit mass murder at the local mall. The gang stops him with the help of a rocket launcher that Xander knew about from his temporarily becoming a soldier during Halloween.

Buffy and Angelus have their first showdown, and when Angelus mocks Buffy for not being able to kill him, she delivers a swift kick to the nards and says, “Give me time.”

Nick Mercer

Nick Mercer (he/him) works as a fundraiser for a nonprofit organization. He was introduced to Buffy by his illustrious co-host when they became fast friends over the summers in elementary school. Nick credits Buffy for his early passion for social justice.

When not cheering on our favorite Sunnydale warriors in their fights against the supernatural, Nick enjoys cooking and engaging in political advocacy in his local community. Nick's favorite quote from Buffy is, "You have to take care of each other. You have to be strong. Dawn, the hardest thing in this world is to live in it. Be brave."

Nick lives in South Carolina with his perfect puggle, Joseph.
